THE OCEAN

Hilo lagoons, black sand, and rain that started on the volcano

Not beachfront — still salt water

FlashTown itself sits uphill in Mountain View. We do not own an ocean lot. The ocean story is where Jessie goes: Hilo-side lagoons, clear water over lava rock, black sand beaches, turtles in the shallows, dogs running the wet sand.

Rain falls on Kīlauea, moves through the island, and eventually reaches the sea. The farm sits on that path — roof and ponds first, shoreline later.
